Blog, Interrupted

Wow, that was some hiatus - we didn't make it to six months, but pretty darn close... ...And that far from means that things have been standing still in the wonderful, wacky world of Fisheye. Spring and Summer this year have seen a busy gigging schedule, including our first shows outside of the "Protective Ring" at the Olde Blind Dog in Old Milton and a sprinkling of various festival shows. As usual, thanks to all who came along - your support is greatly appreciated & we hope you had fun. We've several more shows lined up through the Fall - including another Friday night at the Olde Blind Dog next Friday, September 11th, which should be another lovely night outside on the patio. Work also continues to progress on our sophomore CD (still tentatively entitled "A Totally Different Disaster") - pretty much all the actual recording has been completed for twelve tracks, now Andy's busy putting the final tweaks to the mixes before all gets sent off for mastering and duplication. Brian's initial draft of the artwork looks rather groovy. All things being well, the album should be ready sometime late October or early November. Other news is that Jason has acquired a couple of new toys for his effects board - in fact, this necessitated getting a whole new (& bigger) board - one of which is a wah-wah pedal to get the band's collective groove on with - if you've never heard wah-wah mandolin before - and who has, eh? - then you're in for a treat the next time you catch us live. Well, that about wraps things up for now... back again soon. The 'F' in Fisheye
